History

Le Sirenuse opened in 1951, when the Marchesi Sersale turned their summer house into a charming Hotel, overlooking the bay of Positano. Today Le Sirenuse has 58 rooms, furnished with all the comforts of a luxury hotel, while maintaining the atmosphere of a private home.

Franco, who lived abroad for many years, returned to Positano in 1990 and started a major refurbishing of the hotel. Antonio, Franco's son, studied and worked abroad for many years. He is the manager of the hotel from 1992. Carla, Antonio’s wife, looks after the boutique EMPORIO Le Sirenuse. Giulia, Paolo's daughter, is responsible for all terraces and plants. Marina, Paolo's daughter, with her husband Sebastian Alvarez Murena, created EAU D’ITALIE, Le Sirenuse’s fragrance.
